| bad beat this just happened about 5 minutes ago on full tilt i get pocket queens in early position the blinds are 50/100 its folded to me i raise to 200 2 people call the flop was 3 5 A everyone checks but me i bet 200 one guy calls the other folds the turn is a Q, i raise 400 the other guy raises 800 and i go all in the cards show i have trip Qs he has 5 2 yeap you guessed it the river was a 4 how can you call and reraise with 5 2???? |

| Let me guess, this was a low buy-in SNG? maybe $1+.10 or lower? If so then that is why. At these low levels, a lot of the players will put that buyin on the line to win because it is chump change. They do not think of their odds to hit their hand or about how you have been playing, but just that they might get lucky with one of those hands, and it happens all the time. Move up a little bit in your buy-in price, if your bankroll supports it that is, and you won't see this as often(although you still see it sometimes, you still have the rich idiots) |

| let me see if i understand... blinds were 50-100 and you just raise to 200?? well thats your fault really.. you should raise at least 4 or 5 bb preflop, cause this will avoid that players with bad hands enter in the pot... then in the turn, you played well however your opponent went lucky at the river and beats you.... |

| re: bad beat poker bet bigger dont let ppl hit with crap when ure holding a semi ok hand plush no point i trying to bluff or bet with a good hand if ure playing aginst a donk i must admit i see the river help ppl out 2 often for my lickin but gotta suck it up and carry on with the game and dnt let it get you down |
