Then I gotta stare at them for the next hour or so. Look at them. Just grinning and mocking me. |

| I never have avatars on because they are way too annoying & distracting being I have ADD/ADHD but I can't stand the clowns. Ever since the movie "Poltergeist" came out & the scene where that clown came out from underneath the sons bed to grab him, I've hated em lol. Bastard clowns!! Quote:

| re: Avatars you hate? poker I turn off all my avatars I think they are distracting. On Poker Stars though I will check them out just to get some kind of idea about what type of player they mite be. |

| I always leave the avatars on for a couple of reasons... - it helps to remind me of a particular player... helps for me to associate my reads on them with the pic. & their name.. both. - & to a far lesser degree, it can 'occassionally' give me a bit of insight into their personality type... thereby getting additional reads as well (some may question or joke about this.... sure it's not the telltale most reliable tell of all tells... but I find it can actually have some significance... ie. the joker/clown avatar - if in micro buyins $5-$20-ish, player is often Lag... and a shytty lag at that...quite often real spewy, bluffs alot in bad spots (bluffs don't make sense, etc.).. especially if they've got a sn like 'Iownu'.. or 'Iownu27' (many with 72 in their sn are Lags as well... usually loose/spewy over-aggro donk lags) I actually have some other profiles for other avatars (call me obsessive, lol).. some I've read about & others that I've also noticed for myself (ie. like the joker/clown one)... 'ninja', 'doberman'..but I've said enough already... can't give it all away, lol. |

| re: Avatars you hate? poker Oh yah.... I hate the 'joker/clown' avatar. (but I tend to build my stack up from them). THe MikeTyson boxer dude tilts me a bit too. Avatars on Stars I don't like... 'baby pics.' & other ones with pics. of really goofy looking stuff (disfigured faces, etc.). Some funny ones on there too (saw one of a piece of shit with corn in it the other day.... wtf.. how does Stars allow that one I'll never know?) |

| I have to turn those ugly crosseyed demented baby pics off, not many others. The airforce looking guy on full tilt pisses me off, so I changed my avatar to him, then it was the zombie slag that would do my swede in. So I became her. I may have to reconsider....... Saw an old post on how to custom avatar on full tilt by copying the avatars folder making your pics the same size then renaming your pic xxxxx.png , whatever it should have been. Does this change the appearance just for ones own table view or can you get others to see this. It reminds me of when I left the publishing company I worked for in London, I went round peoples computers on windows 98 and changed the logo.sys file from an orange "it is now safe to turn off your computer" to "Elvis has left the building". |

| Interesting topic, avatars don't really have an influence on me, but I like to think about which ones would tilt others more when I choose mine. My first avatar on FT was the fish, hoping opponents would take me less serious. Then I changed to the frog and now I'm the old lady smoking with the awesome combination of the "I'm better than you" look with the normal emotion and the clueless "I can't believe I won" look with the smiling emotion. On other sites I don't have an avatar, I want to draw as little attention to me as possible. |

| I don't display avatars anymore because I have a bad beat story behind every stinkin' one of them. Seriously, it use to get into my head, so I use the option of not displaying them, lol !!!!! I wish FT would go to posting your own image as an avatar, cause lusting while I play is more fun. And this way I don't have to run to the bathroom every 5 minutes to look in the mirror ! Hey ho, lets go... They're all revved up and ready to go. On a Ramones kick lately ! |

| Best Avatar: ![]() lol, I use the donkey avatar on tilt, what I hate are people who change the expression of their avatar to 'happy' after they suck out. They're usually the guys who are bragging about it two seconds later as well. Other than that, I dont really pay attention to them. |

Nice so im not crazy! Even tho it pisses me off when the ninja has the little grin or the rock/plant smiles like hes laughing at you it makes me go crazy! You know what else pisses me off? When players sit there on tilt an just change the animation over and over and over and over again OMG I just want to turn them off! |
