Anyone tried Cell/Mobile Phone Poker?

Since I may be getting a job as a security guard, I thought a good way of earning extra cash while on the job and curing my boredom would to play online poker through my mobile phone.

I heard ultimatebet has been offering the service for a while and perhaps partypoker??

Anyway has anyone tried it before, what was your experience, is it a good idea for me If I get this job?

I wouldn't play for any stakes that would qualify as extra money over a cell phone connection. I've played some play money apps, and due to time outs, even that was frustrating.

Maybe you should ask your boss if he's tried it or what he'd recommend?

If your internet connection is part of your contract and costs no extra then I suggest getting a poker app.

I didnt personally have one but I gave my friend a tenner on a coach journey and I earned him fifty on top. So he gave me the fifty and kept the tenner.

Everyone was happy, including the first pub landlord we accosted.

I've only played poker on a mobile phone with play money app, which is o..k. Im guessing if u played for real money tho then to concertrate on a tiny screen for ages will nack ur eyes n concertration. Mite b fun for a while but im guessing this type of gaming on a mobile mite b only good to p!ss away time.
Y don't u take a laptop into work and hook up using their internet. That way u can play poker better or if u dont wanna play, u can jus surf the net on here or watch a film.
Playin poker at work isnt the best idea, spesh if ur in a big pot during a cash game and then u have to dash off to do something work related lol.
I only play micro games when at work to p!ss away the time.

I don't know, poker on a phone looks weird... I played it, but that looks kinda weird... Isn't it weird for you guys?

Obviously mobile poker wont be as good as playing on a computer but I just need to know if its playable and the experiences of others, as its better than nothing and would be a good time waster for some jobs..

its playable there are several out there but be warned it will kill your battery and you lose conection lots very frustrating
