Anyone play in London?

Hello people, just wondering if there are any Londoners here and if so, where do you play? I wouldn't mind trying my luck at a casino but I am apprehensive as I only want to play low-limit for now (can't walk yet, never mind run!) and I don't want to be laughed out of the joint.

I'm from London, as is Greg, and we regularly play 'home games', but as of yet we haven't tried out any poker at casinos, I prefer playing with friends and people I know.

There arent actually that many casion's around London where you can play any kind of poker, doubt there is any for low limit play. They are out there, but you need to be a member plus some of these casino's can be very shady

My advice to you is play some online games to that limit you would in the casino and see how you fair. Also, if you do start playing live, it wud probably be advisable to play some MTT's 1st to get used to the feel of the game and the plays/players

THE best place for live games in london is the gutshot.They run beginner tourneys for a fiver buyin too(think its a fiver anyway).google for their website,its pretty good too.
Don't get sucked into the cash games,there are some very good players there.

I've played in a couple of the underground cardrooms, much tougher games than the local casinos.

I play live games with friends quite often but they're getting sick of me taking their money. I will Google Gutshots.
