Seriously, that's the sick thing. If he'd taken the time to learn poker, or if he had someone real close that knew anything about poker, he could have done it much more subtly, get in bad at times, actually have losing days, and he would have been hailed as one of the best players of all time.

I need this kind of winrate! Same reason the card counters and buddy teams get caught at blackjack in Vegas/A.C. GREED! Nobody can win that damn much, it's just statistically impossible. A heater is one thing, global warming the table is another issue all together.

i'm all for global warming at the poker table. you can melt the ice and drown everyone's game by eatin a philly cheesesteak and a couple 7-11 big bites before sitting down, releasing those horrible greenhouse gasses

Actually, according to 60 Minutes, the player who was Potripper is Russ Hamilton, 1994 WSOP Main Event Champion. It is an object lesson in how easy it is to get carried away with greed, to the exclusion of common sense.
