Has anyone heard if pokershare is starting up again?

Rudy,

I was a pokershare member and I haven't received anything as of yet. But you never know. I know one thing since they took away UBs business they won't have anything to do with them.

Because I feel this guys post may well be genuine - so there's no need to say it wasn't.

Then just say so. It was my opinion and i wasn't insulting or vulgar. Deleting my post was extreme. If I was wrong then my apologies to Rudy.
Welcome to CC Rudy. Rudy, are you there?

If this one gets deleted too, I'm gone.

no worries... apology accepted.. am not sure what you were implying I was anyway.

I did hear rumours about pokershare, but they havent started up yet and was wondering if it was true. (only because I was told to look out for the bonus schemes.. which, as I loose more than I earn.. would certainly help me out!)

Sorry Rudy. What happend was that seeing your first thread as a possible promotion of a poker site, I suggested to DessertLady that in all likelyhood you were a shill. It happens all the time. Nick thought otherwise and deleted my post. As it turns out you seem to be legit so I offer my apologies along with a heartfelt welcome to the site.

My issue is that, in my opinion, Nick pulled the trigger a little too quickly in what I felt was a harmless comment. I don't mind being wrong about something Nick. I would appreciate it if my original post was restored.

Once again Rudy, sorry about that and welcome to the forum.

Guys, there's such a thing as being too touchy about spam.

If you think something is spam, just hit the report button and we'll deal with it. Snide comments and jumping to conclusions won't make spam disappear any faster.

On topic, the website says "March 2006", but I'd take that with a pinch of salt. I'd guess if it is actually gonna restart it'll be sometime next month or not at all.

Dennis, Pokershare was a Ultimatebet skin. The gimmick was that each player 'owned' a piece of the site, and would get money ('dividends') back based on how much they'd played. They fell out with Ultimatebet, I think because they were taking too many of their customers away (why play on Ultimatebet when you could play on a skin which was offering 'free' money?), and closed to Americans (and later closed completely).

I may have jumped to the wrong conclusion, but my comment was far from snide. But I guess your all just going to have to take my word for it.

Nah, I can see your post.

I know your post wasn't snide - I was just making a general comment and not referring to anyone in particular (except Rob, whoi's a snide bastard ). Apologies for any confusion.

Apologies FD, sorry about removing your post, I shouldn't have done it. But, in future though, if you think something is spam please just report it and don't reply - I had the image of you putting off the original poster and that was the reason of my removal.

I want to know if this pokershare is exactly like "Poker Champs"? I heard DM state pokershare acts as if all players are owners f the site or something of that sort. At "poker champs" it doesn't state this but it gives you money back for poker points like a 30% rake back and if you reffer people you make money off of them as well.

Does pokershare do something like this?
