Anyone ever have trouble with players bashing you

Ok I always run into problems on poker sites (i think its bc I am female) were as if I win a hand against some one (usually a male) exspecially if they have pocket Aces. They start calling me very rude name or saying valguer things to me, I usually just ignore it but sometimes it just gets on my nerves and throws off my whole game. Dose this happen to anyone else? And how do you cope with it?

This is how I handle being bashed at the table.
"Keep it up and your chips will soon be mine", "Don't grow too attached to your chips", just a couple of things I say to the big mouths at the table then I remain quiet and let them wonder if I have turned the chat off and thank them after every hand in which I aquire some of their chips.
Without really acknowledging their existence at the table while taking their chips will put them on tilt at which point you or others will benefit from the tilting donkey.
If it really bothers you, then turn chat off, some rooms have it so you can turn off just an individuals chat so you can still remain talking to the more civilized players.
As for the bashing overall, you can't get away from it.

trust me, its not because ur a female, everyone gets it
the worst thing u can do, is start fighting back with them, nothing good can come of it
if it gets really really bad, u can report their chat

to expand on what shine said,

Don't forget some of these folks do this just to try to get you or someone else at the table to go on tilt. Ignore it or turn off the chat.

lol that's funny
bashing is the one thing I hate most in poker. Just realize that this is another area where patience plays an important part, and mental self control/discipline.
If you can't help it though, just mute them and insult them all you please...heheh really you shouldn't though.

But jazz is female and we all know females are more civilized than us pigs and a "Thanks" is more approriate.
As it is I really say "Had enough donkey or do you want to give me more of your chips?"

Atleast I don't do it to just females... I do bash some in the chat, but it helps me vent my bad beats and hopefully get the other player thinking that I'm tilting which I use to take the rest of their stack

Sorry man, but I can't say I like that. Yeah, poker's a psychological game, but you should "play with class," as Howard Lederer says.

Most sites you can mute just one player's chat, so follow MrSticker's advice and mute them if it bothers you. If you can't read what they say, you can't be tempted to reply.

Myself, I just ignore it. Why waste my time or put my own game on tilt? They really aren't worth it. When you simply ignore them, they do go away. Bad chatters also do not seem to last long at any table. If it does degenerate into chat abuse, report them. Once they've lost their chat privileges, they won't be bothering any other players and you will have had the last word, while saying nothing at all. ...

Continue to ingore them and stay on your game. A lot of bashers aren't that great of a player and try to make others feel bad because you beat them in pots.

not

I usually get the occasional nut thinking hes the pro at the table, and when I crack a dumb move he makes,he might start the *donk stuff, but i just dont reply, then they have nothin to work with.So thats the best advice, just play your game and ignore everyone.

lol my bad it was Doyle Brunson who said "play with class." But that should just give the sentence more force, if anything.

I think the better one is "Play to win". There are many players that bash others successfully. I have a wierd way of first bashing them and then getting friendly, lastly I usually take their money.

Happens ALL the time. I usually just mute them. At one time poker was considered a gentlemens game, I guess not online.

Work with it, they are ripe for pushing on to tilt. Chose your replys carefully (keeping it polite and clean) then stop talking and focus on your game. They usually then proceed in donating their remaining buy in, or sometimes even bankroll.
