| Anyone else hear this? I was reading about a web based poker radio station last night. They apparently have a regular feature from a guy that studies and talks about poker and laws affecting it. He stated that the whole Kentucky effort was hatched by a group of lawyers in Chicago. They devised a scheme to bilk the poker industry. They then shopped the idea state to state. The Kentucky Govenor was the only one that took them up on it. So the Kentucky Governor couldn't really care less about online poker. He is just in it for the possibility that money could be made from the threat of court action. Those lawyers don't care either. They are just trying to milk the legal system for their 40% of any payout. |

Also, there are more students studying to be lawyers right now than there are lawyers already. Scary thought. |
