Are there anybody there have make a big win playing poker.

My self have only won about 500-1000 $

Ive ran 12 into $2800 in 48 hrs once on PP, In live games my big hit is $3800 in one sitting. Live game was a $1/2 PL Omaha Hi game. Some big fish were at the table and I just cracked them... Not really big wins but they are pretty good. I do have a friend that was up $250,000 (1/4 Mil) this year on internet poker rooms. Since Jan. I bet there are people who are making at least $800,000 per year playin internet poker.

Kid, those are some pretty respectable sums... most of us on here would love to give up the day job to play poker, and $250,000 would certainly do it, probably quite a bit less. I'm only at the $100-150 mark, although that's playing limit $1/2 max. Did you start on limit Omaha and move to pot limit, or what? (I'm curious because I'm well over $150 up playing small-stakes limit but down playing small-stakes pot limit at present)

when you play PL the size of your stack matters, unfortunately for you limit and PL are two totally diffrent games. Most of the time, you (I) will not have a legitimate amount of cash to play the game. In limit with 5 way action you would almost always call on the nut flush draw or the top set. In PL when you have 5 People Allin, you have pot odds, but sometimes you have to fold the nuts because of the draws. I suggest that you play a little PL game on some of the sites. It really takes some bad beats before you learn about what I am talking about. I have flopped the nut straight (A-t) and had five people all in and I had to fold, because there were two clubs out there and I feel positive there was a set. Omaha is such a great game, it is the only game that you may not have a pair on fourth street and be a favorite to win the pot. Knowing when you have these hands is what makes this game so profitable....

I have large swings in my bankroll. I usually deposit 200 or less and I cash out ASAP, I also like to parlay my money into bigger games. The Best Omaha game in the world is at party poker. It is the $400 max buy in Omaha Hi PL game. You can really make some unreal money and the players are fishy... But it is a suck out haven, so be ready to go bust or make a grand....
