So have u ever been on any exciting poker adventures that you care to share?
So once I was telling my friend about this exciting knew poker spot that I had found. After I told him he was so anxious that he kept pestering me to take him there......So after finally getting annoyed I gave in.......So we hired a car (his cousin) to take us to the spot and pick us up back, u'd calling him when we were ready...... So, on our arrival at the spot, my friend called me aside and told me that he was broke, I had to spot him a few bucks..........Can you flipping believe this? This broke son of a gun nagged me to take him to a poker game with his broke self........My friend is a very good poker player though and more importantly he is a great card handler, a cheat if you will, once you blink he'll stack the deck, he has stacked the deck....
So we entered the game and were about a hour into into when, it was my friends turn to be the dealer...... and he got his chance, they 'blinked', I knew better so I insta-folded.........The pot raise now left to be contested between him and this older guy who loved raising, a LAG, if u will......It was fixed limit poker but pretty high stakes (by our standards)........So my friend raised out every single penny that he had on his hand and then came on my hand and raised out every single penny (its allowed in our variation of the game), using only my last dollar to finally 'call' the guy's bet, seemingly only stopping is raising on the assumption that that was the last of my money so he hadn't anymore to raise..........
So now it was time to declare his hand.....my friend declared four of a kind, four aces with a smirk on his face...Of course he had, the slick son of a gun had stacked the deck unbeknownst to any one but me.......He was so confidently making as if he was ready to collect the pot without even seeing the other guy's hand.....When to my amazement, to our amazement the guy stops him, playfully taps him on his hand and smiled and said u have lost...he showed a straight flush.....the look of dismay on his face was priceless, the look on my face of 'wtf just happened?, how am I going to be repaid?' was indescribable..............
So it was time for us to go home....both of us broke, not even a penny our pockets. Luckily we had paid our transport fee before we started the gambling, right?? So we dialled the drivers number a million times to come to pick us up and until this day he hasn't answered the phone lol.....He had to walk home about 20 miles and this was about 2 a.m in the morning...
