| Any cures for the Bad Beat Blues? I encourage you all not to read this. I just need to complain for a minute. i've had an ugly night, and i'm not talking about the CC event at pokerstars. even though i got knocked out there when my J's were cracked by 9's on the river, at least i know untimatly i lost out to good players. i was actually quite impressed by the talent level. everytime i bluffed someone was bound to raise me. but that's okay. anyway, after i got knocked out i figured i'd keep playing for awhile, a couple cheap tournies, heads up match and a ring game, only to have aces cracked 3 times, and never by my opponent catching a set with a lower pocket pair, but by highly improbable runner-runner suck outs for straights. whenever i had a straight, it was the sucker end. whenever i had a full boat, someone had a better one. finally i had to sit down at the micro limit stud hi/low table just to mellow out for awhile. now i'm trying to watch The Incredables, but the reception sucks and i don't have any ! okay, there's my feeling sorry for myself post. if anyone read this, my only question is, Do you know any cures for the bad beat blues? cuz all i can think of is to bang my head against the wall, or drink a six pack, and i know neither will do any good. okay, that's it..... -n |
