Hmm. I thought we already knew this?

I can't see why. It's not illegal in Canada. Bad move on their part IMO. I love Canada, it's too bad they have to deal with this B.S. b/c of the U.S.

Well it was announced this morning.... so if you already knew about it perhaps you should spend more time on the stock market and less playing poker :D

I guess I could at least say, I'm not surprised. Neteller waits months to make payments, etc...such B.S.

An semi-educated guess is that the banking systems in Canada are so intertwined with those in the US as to be nearly indistinguishable.

Don't even have an uneducated guess about Turkey.

Geez, and here I was just thinking yesterday that I should come up with some use to get the last $2.00 that I have in there out.

Maybe I can use it for partial payment for something on ebay.

This makes absolutely no sense since we can still use our credit cards to deposit to gambling sites.

Firepay has been gone for awile as well.... but apparently My Citadel is also stopping dealings with gambling websites.

I think I read that Moneybookers and Click2pay are still good, but I am unsure as to how widely used they are on poker websites.

I'm the first to criticize the US govt's actions regarding online gaming/poker,
but please, how does anyone think Neteller wasn't complicit in taking their customer's money ?!?

US arrests their founders for leverage, Neteller shows where their real loyalty is-- even though they are out of the jurisdiction of the USA, even though no one can be prosecuted ex post facto based on the new law...

even though there is no new law in Canada....

Don't think you aren't next-- get your money out while you can.
