Another sharkscope graph
When looking at sharkscope graphs, people always seem to concentrate mostly on the Profit vs. games played graph. I'm usually more interested in the second one: ROI vs. entry fee.
Actually I'm so obsessed with it that although I'm now bankrolled to play $20+2 SNGs, I actually focus on $6+.50 turbos because that's a negative point in my graph that I desperately want to move back up to a decent value. ![]() Do you guys also care about this? What do your graphs look like? |

Checking results too often is a sign of your ego getting in the way (not trying to sound rude, I do this a lot
).I'm sure it won't be too much of an issue at the smaller stakes, but as you move up and start dealing with real money it'll basically be a leak in your game. I play 100nl and often find myself checking my results as I go along which is just silly. If you're paying attention to short-term results, your mental state can stray way off track as opposed to focusing on the best play in the current hand. In other words, don't be concerned with results in the short-term ![]() |
