if he is on A/K , A/Q, A/J the odds are apprx 40%-60% depending on if he is suited or not.

with your stack in relation to blind there is just no reason to make those plays, even if you are 60-40 behind why put your tourney life on line in race situation when you dont need to. I just dont like it.

in 3d4d you have big stacks behind you still to act so yes you still are risking a lot if one of them wakes up with a hand. 3d4d are not cards you want to re-raise with those are hand you want to be opening with. Unless you are in the blinds but with like 3-4 people to act behind you its not a geat play, sorry.

you put 1/4 of your stack in the middle and are commiting yourself against any like 12k to 20k stack.

agree, table full of short stacks-- be aware of the spots where the payout changes (mini bubbles), and EXPLOIT.

I'm sorry, but where's the logic here? If he's shown in the past that he's going to call huge bets PF with something as bad as KQ, then why are we trying to push him off a hand PF?

I mean no offense here, but this is some very very reckless play.

Try raises to $t3600 or $t4000 instead of $t4800 and see if they are not just as effective...

If you are called your continuation bet will be smaller (event though it will be a larege % of the shorty's stack), and if you are rr you can get away cheaper.

DON'T PANIC -- you have slightly above avg. stack.
Make raises to $5k and see if that is not just as effective as $8k...

oh, btw, you have to change gears from the "I'm the big stack" mind set now, the faster you can the better off you will be.
