Another noble let-down

i was in what i think was a $3 re-buy, and was disconnected
i had already hit money but was a BIG stack at the time, then got disconnected for an HOUR
after they finally let me back on i was a shortstack and had no chance of getting back in the game

this is their reply to my email i sent to support:
Dear Taylor,

Thank you for contacting Nobel Poker.

Good day!

We have investigated your complaint below and have found that there were indeed connection problems relating to the poker system at the time of your complaint.

Due to the fact that you were able to play to a position in the Tournament that had a prize of greater value than your Buy-in we cannot authorize a further refund.

Have a pleasant evening.

With any more questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Noble Poker Support Team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Best Regards,

KemaÂ

Not to sound abrupt but maybe I Misinterpreted "Due to the fact that you were able to play to a bposition in the Tournament that had a prize of greater value than your Buy-in we cannot authorize a further refund.. Cause from what I read it says you were offered way more than a refund.

they considered my winnings in the tourney the "refund"

k this is what happened: $3 buy-in plus tourney fee
i got big stacked and hit money while i was disconnected (can't remember how much, but i think it was a little more than the buy-in)
then they figured i didn't need an actual refund for my troubles because i hit money, and considered my winnings from the tourney to be enough of a 'refund' that they felt they didn't need to give me any compensation
i know they have no obligation to compensate players who have been disconnected, for whatever reason, but this email is basically saying "you hit money and got your buy in back. We don't think you need to be compensated any more than that"

what they are saying is he won more than the buy in fee so he can screw himself!i have just wasted an hour trying to play on noble and am getting heartily sick of the bullshit disconnections and crappy customer care at the site.as you were the big stack at the time they surely could have offered you a free entry into another tourney just as a thank you for staying with them

I see your point you've also agreed to that they have no obligations to refund. Yes I admit it "Sucks" but just try again in another 3$ re-buy tourney.

Look at the brightside I suppose.. you didn't gain nothing and you didn't lose nothing.

I basically read "It's our fault but we're not going to do anything about it". There's a reason I don't play there.

I was in a tourney as well at the time of the Noble server meltdown, but i was not in the money or anywhere close at the time. I was all in with pocket aces however and had made a set when the server crashed. Though i was angry about the server crash I was not only refunded after compaining but given an extra $10.00 for my troubles from Noble Customer Support.

It seems like lots of people have disconnection problems with Noble....Could it be their connection (ISP) or Noble's problem?

It might be a problem for dial-up users,i dont know, I have D/S/L and have NEVER been disconnected from noble. What kind of connection do you people have that have been getting disconnected. I know when i had dial-up i was getting disconnected all the time, like once an hour or so, but when i switched to the D/S/L ( that was 3 years ago ) i never get disconnected. I got Verizon DSL and they are running a special now,so if anyone is interested check it out.

I have cable and have never had any problems with Noble connections. Now, going out of a tourny by going all-in preflop with my A-Q and losing to A-J ... that is my problem with Noble. lol

I have cable modem and a monster gaming rig, and I've disconnected from Noble several times with all my other internet programs continuing to run fine. Disconnects are inherently more probable with dial up, but I believe some of them come from Noble's end.
