| Annette_15 playing 180 seater MTT blind and winning! First post in a while for me, but was so impressed by this video PokerXFactor – Improve your online poker game from top poker pros via the PXF Training Center. that I had to post the link, considering that this is the same girl who just recently took down the WSOPE Main Event for a cool £1million. Quite a long video, but obviously you can fast forward the hands that she folds. Thoughts, anyone? I think you can learn a hell of a lot from this video.I know I did. (If it asks you to register, then do it, it only takes a few seconds, and it's free) (thanks to ripptyde for the original link on another thread) |

| KD! Darling, where have you been? Good to see you. I'm going to try something out with your original post, so if you see a copy of this elsewhere, don't be alarmed. (It will have to wait a few minutes though.) EDIT: Nevermind...it didn't work. Last edited by juiceeQ : 24th September 2007 at 11:41 PM. |

| lmao, you cannot be serious? She is the luckiest poker player alive, so she folded KK/AA pre flop, that doesn't prove anything! If she wanted us to think she did it blind then she wouldn't raise with those hands would she?! If she is so good at reading peoples betting patterns, then she would sit at $200/$400 table and destroy the competition there, she would earn alot more money playing those stakes, then playing multiple tourneys a day and profiting a couple thousand bucks. |

why would a tournament pro sit in a cash game? if you think its all luck why dont you go search her on any one of the databases? Official Poker Rankings - Online Poker Results, Rankings, Statistics or Bluff Magazine | The Thrill of Poker, Poker Rankings, Poker Tournament Coverage, thepokerdb, online poker rankings I think her results speak for themselves. |

being a great MTT player and a great cash game player take pretty different skill sets. there are a number of different dynamics, and different people excel at different aspects of poker. experience is also obviously a factor, and annette's experience (like, say, chris ferguson) has primarily come in tournaments. that being said, i think annette could win at the big cash games, if not now, then with experience, just because she's so fundamentally good at poker and she knows how to make adjustments. it's just not her preference and likely not as good a fit for her as MTTs, given the skill set she excels at she did get quite lucky to win the WSOPE, but who doesn't get lucky to win a tournament? one highlight very late in the tournament: she had QJ vs JJ, all in for her tournament life, rivered a Q. |

| Your Welcome KD.. That was some 'Schooling' on the Felt.. I see the pattern of her bets, and the noticable weakness she picks up during the early stages of the match. I think I counted 6-7 hands out of the total lot that went to a Showdown, where had she been looking and playing the cards, would have won the Pot. She did mention she peeked on hand #47 when the guy pushed all-in with 8-2. where she lost the hand on a flush draw. The 9-2 hand that she won on a All-In call was sick. and the J-9 suited hand where the guy folded when she Shoved. diamonds all over the board. But that aside, It is really Baffling how she pulled it off during HU. esp. when down 1/3 to Opponent. ~Great Lesson.....Golden Archives here we come!~ |
