According to these stats, am I playing too tight or is this average?:
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 103 hands and saw flop: - 6 out of 12 times while in big blind (50%) - 5 out of 11 times while in small blind (45%) - 14 out of 80 times in other positions (17%) - a total of 25 out of 103 (24%) Pots won at showdown - 2 of 2 (100%) Pots won without showdown - 5 |

Well 24% is a fair, tight number for a ring game. In a tourney you would probably want a higher number as you need to play a bit more to to steal blinds and such.
Of course this is only a hundred hands and the competition you are facing is very important. Its really dependent on how the table is playing. If the table is passive I might limp into a lot of pots hoping for the big score. Table is tight I play more hands to try and bully a bit. Loose table I tighten right up. Loose passive table, lots of cheap flops. But really what I am saying is we can't really say if you are being too tight or not tight enough because it so depends on what works for you and how the rest of the table is playing. |
