Advice on withdrawals but keeping my bankroll at 20 buy ins.

Im wondering when to withdraw funds from my poker account.

Ive built my bankroll up to $1,300 and im now playing at $0.25/$0.50 NLHE.

Now i understand the minimum i must keep my roll at is $1000 so was just trying to think whens best to withdraw any extra dollars if you know what i mean.

Should i withdraw $500 when my roll gets to $1,500 or should i make a withdrawal for every $100 or so i make?

Any advice from you would be much appreciated.

Well you need to make sure if you have a few bad day you still get enough... If i was you i would withdraw $100 when you can.

You should be looking to keep building your roll as well as cashing out. 20BI downswings are not unheard of. If I was you I'd play until $1500 and cash out $250. Then play from $1250 to $1750 and rinse/repeat.

Thanks for the advice it sounds like a great idea and makes perfect sense.

You definitely don't want to put yourself in a position where your going to withdraw and then end up below 20BI because of a bad day. I would do something like what tenbob suggested. Once I get to a level where I can make decent money, I'm sure I'll employ a similar system.

you need to keep ur b/r over a thousand if u can. i would take out $100 at a time.

Withdraw how ever much cash u need to pay bills with LMAO. Thats what i do anyways.
