Seems good to me.

Heaven knows, our present UK government includes a good number of clowns, but it`s striking how much more sensible they are on this issue than the clowns who play in Washington.

Speaking of whom, I just learned of this nonsense:

RIAA Targets Internet Radio | WebProNews

pretty soon, as well as being unable to play online poker in the US, you also won`t be able to listen to the radio while you don`t play.

Not sure about that Egon. I heard that they trying to bring in a online gambling tax too. Ridiculous considering the abandoned the tax in B&M bookmakers some years ago.

I hadn`t heard that, Vintage. Can`t imagine how that would work. The internet is (obv) global. If any one State tries to tax operators, won`t they just locate somewhere else ?

I have heard that the UK government is happy to encourage online gambling firms to base themselves in the UK and incorporate on the London Stock Exchange (as many already do). That has the effect of generating tax revenue in the UK and means that operators agree to inspection and regulation by UK government agencies. Was that what you had in mind ?

I fear for the yute these days. When I was wee, freedom was a notion associated with the USA. Oh how that has changed.

Somehwere along the line, Our Supreme Court decreed that the Pursuit of Happiness meant the pursuit of money. With that definition, repeatedly, things which I took for granted long ago, have become taboo. It started before my time.

Question still remains, Canada, or the UK?

Definitely the UK for you then.

We have more trees than you can shake a stick it.

Flush toilets were invented here.

The British (unsurprisingly) speak with British accents.

We have Rugby Football, the original game (invented in Britain) of which American Football is a variation.

Edit: just thought, that last may be news to some of our American members. No offence intended guys, but the parent game really is British. See here:

I didn`t say we invented plumbing. The Romans have the patent on that.

It`s not hard to flush unless you`re Daks, and she also can`t manage to use a payphone. There may be a pattern here.

I am sure I am not the only American who has struggled with flushing Irish and English toilets! There is a trick to it and it must take a long time to learn. After this - I refuse to leave your brother's pub until you get me to a 100% successful flush rate.

As for the pay phone - you try asking 10 Irish men how much it cost to use a pay phone in Dublin and see what kind of looks and answers you get! And do it with a southern accent while you are at it.

Lol.

Daks, the pub is a place to forget life`s little frustrations, not dwell on them.

What is your favourite medicine ? I`ll make sure bro has it handy.

The Chinese beat them as well - as with most things, the Chinese done it years before anyone else had woken up

History of Plumbing

And for American Football get Sky Tv - have decent coverage or NASN and watch ALL kinds of American sports, including College stuff.
