Can someone PLEASE explain to me how the bad beat jackpot is won on Absolute Poker.com would really appretiate it if someone could put me in the know

First, you have to play in the Bad Beat rooms, which are highlighted in Red and say (Jackpot) next to the name of the room. Then you have to get beat holding four eights (8888) or a anything better.

I've never played in it, and to be honest I don't know how easy it would be to win. I mean you would have to have Quad cards higher than 8's and get beat by Quad Kings or Aces, or a Straight Flush, Royal Flush, any other Quad cards that get beat by bigger quads. Its a good chance to win some cash. As long as your at the table playing you win a little bit of it, if you are the winner of the hand you win a bigger porton and if you are the one who got the bad beat you get a nice paycheck!!

the problem is 50 cents of every pot goes to the jackpot. The house also takes a cut WHICH IS UNHEARD OF AND ABSURD. 10% FOR THE HOUSE. In all that means instead of taking 5% rake at all the smaller stakes tables they are raking much more. You are losing money by playing there. You would be much better off playing somewhere else and then buying lottery tickets cause having quad eights beat is more than 1 million to one.

I think the rake is still the same on each table, but its only on the tables that have a rake of 50cents or more per hand, they take .25 cents of it, which is reasonable. That is why they keep 10% of the Badbeat Jackpot as well, it goes back into the jackpot so it never gets down to $0. Nobody will want to play if it is small. It marketing and motive!!

Thank you Phildin that dose give you somthing else to look at when playing in any of those kinds of things, but I think you are right Crummy it's fair and a way to keep it going
