Absolute fiasco

I read a post about Absolute poker and rigging or a lapse in security or something like that? can any one explain more I missed it first time around?

Absolute poker had a sercurity problem when a former employee hacked into there system and used an out of use account to play. While he played he could see everyone hole cards and just played accordinly so he wins every hand he plays in.

Yes; they (Absolute poker) had a great problem of safety; they are now trying to recover his reputation with promote.

Nowadays I do not play in absolute poker

Ya I was considering downloading Absolute, even tho I hate Phil Hellmuth.
But when I heard of this scam, I thought,
Plenty of other sites,, avoid this one like the plague

^^^Phil is on Ultimate bet. And since the superuser issue i have not/will not play on absolute. i do believe that they have fixed the security issues with that site tho.

I also believe that they (absolutepoker) solved the problem, but to recover the confidence of members and of new members even there stays a lot of way that to cross.
I even have a lot of distrust to have my money in this poker room.

but knowing this how can we play else-where? if it happens there why can it not happen at other sites ? anyone know how long they did it for, how long ago it happened and how much they won?

also be aware that Ultimatebet had a big scandal and that both sites are owned by the same entity...coincidence? probably not
