9 4 offsuit a playable hand??

Well some guy I was at a table with today thought so even had the gall to re raise my poket aces pre flop go all in on the flop which we both missed and hit runner runner to make 2 pair. LOL wtf?

I'd say any cards are "playable" if you put too much emphasis on the cards and not the reads/position then you aren't playing to your full potential

Agreed, any two cards are playable cards. Traditionally, though, no.

And that was just a bad, bad beat.

honestly you want those calls....ive said this many times before, next time a person like that calls with 9 4....statistically you should take it down....the fish will take your money but over time you take it right back and some!

oh yeah and did you go allin first or did he on the flop and plus if he reraised you why didnt you push again preflop????Aces= best hand preflop lol

He didn't call, he re-raised. He didn't know opening poster had AA, maybe he thought a re-raise would take it down based on previous reads. OP folded, no-one would never have known he had 9 4.

That's why I asked for Hand History, you can't give an opinion on a hand if you've got 1/4th of the info.

He went all in after the flop hit probly trying to get me off the hand

Without some more info on the hand, relative stack sizes, position, circumstances, you know a hand history as Rob said, jthe discussion is really pointless.
