| That Senator from Arizona has to be one of the biggest jerkoffs I have ever seen. His reasoning of "you dont' know if they'll pay you off", "kids could be using it", and "addicts don't know when to stop" are some of the most ridiculous comments I have ever heard. First off as mentioned, consumers are not stupid. If I have any problem whatsoever with a site I will not deal with them. I'm also not dumb enough to go to sites with no reputation in order to avoid any problems. And as far as the payoffs, I have been gambling online for a few years and have never once had any problem getting money paid back to me. Kids could be using it?? First off you can't use American credit cards to gamble online. They will not be accepted. Everything is done through banking accounts and I don't know many 13 year olds that are smart enough to dip into their parents bank account. And again, any decent site has a strong screening process in order to avoid this. Very true, some addicts don't know when to stop. Just like alchoholics don't know when to quit drinking. That doesn't mean they can't walk into any corner store and buy a fifth of jack. Cigarettes are well known to cause cancer but the government does nothing to stop it. Why?? Because they are making money off of it. For every problem gambler you have fifty people who gamble responsibly. To sum it up the government makes me truly sick on this issue. They should mind their own business on what people want to do with the entertainment dollars they have. Or at least quit beating around the bush and tell the truth about their problem- they aren't making any money off of it. So just regulate it and be done with it. |

| 1] This would be regulated the same way as any porn site. No it wouldnt keep the all kids out but how about nailing the kids that steal thier parents credit cards or break into bank accounts. They can do that on Best Buy's website just the same. 2] Like Joe said about being addicted. That again should not be our problem as there is a small percantage of addicted gamblers. Its so much easier support addicted gamblers off line. No casino kicks out someone spending hundreds in it. In fact I've been to casinos that cash welfare checks...AND ADVERTISSE THE FACT! Most online sites have a limit of what you can deposit. |

Lots of our Reps. are 70 to 85 years old and dont want to change anything, we need them out, Voting day for Mass. is tomorrow, its the pre-elections and im voting for New Young Reps, that are not old fashioned>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.. buck |
