I like to play on the 6 man tables because I find it helps me with my hand and opponent reading skills because I am in more hands. Also the faster more aggressive play helps build the stack a bit quicker. The 10 man tables are pretty good too when I want to slow down my game a little.

Most people I think they say full tables but I like the 6 person table because you see more action . I find that at the full tables they all play supertight and most of the time I see no more then 3 guys seeing the flop. At the small tables you may see the same action but its much quicker and you play more hands. Of course I till play tight but you have to open up your game a bit. I also find more idiots at these tables.

re: 6 man VS full table poker It depends on the type of game. I have great success in MTT's, so obviously I am pretty good at playing tight and succeeding at 10 person tables. When it comes to SnG's and ring games, I prefer 6 man tables. Playing short handed gives you a lot more opportunity to be aggressive and bluff your way into winning a pot. Ring games, I profit much more at the 6 person tables. I have a special place in my heart for 6 person tables because I learned how to bluff and read my opponents at these tables, which obviously improved my game greatly.

In ring games I greatly prefer full tables. Allows me to be more patient and play the very tight and selective style I desire. In SnG's I always play the full table ones as well, but once it gets short-handed I'm plenty confident with my abilities. I'm much better at bluffing and being aggressive in a tournament than I am at ring games where I'm betting straight out of my bankroll.
