5400 fpp sats/million turbo takedown what is the quality of play in these, for those of you who have played them? i don't play enough to get platinum, and so i make ~10k fpps/month i guess. I really don't feel like taking the 285$ bonus, seeing as that is awful "rakeback". 210 sats are out of the question, as they take forever to load and even if they did i'd make less wasting my fpps playing them than playing ring. so i figure if i could get something like 50% roi in the 5400 sats i could get something like 24% "rakeback". Even 40% roi (so breaking even) would give almost 20%. why do alot of you guys take the bonuses (granted alot are at plat and are getting much better than the gold bonus) instead of trying to make a little more playing the big sats? don't want to flirt with variance? quality of play quite high? anyways basically just sick of paying rake and not seeing any of it, seeing as i pay rake at something between $15-20/hr. hell, i only make $20/hr at my summer job, and that is basically what i lose to rake. the way i see it, even if i only cash in 1/4 sunday mill sats, i still end up with the same i'd make from the gold bonus.

Ive been playing the 5400 FPP sattys for the last couple months and like them. I know the variance is high in them, but I think its way better than the gold bonus. I'm currently at platinum status and I still play them as I still believe its better than the platinum bonus. Another thing to consider when playing them vs taking the bonus is that you have to play a certain amount of hands to clear the bonus. You don't have to clear the satty win and I trade the 215 T$ to $208.55 cash through a website (easy to find, just google sell PokerStars T$). As for the competition in them, it varies. Once I had like four 50/0 type players at the table and once I had all 16/12 types at the table, so it really depends on who registers. I'd say on average theres 2 really bad players in them so I think that getting a cash rate of ~45% in the long run is sustainable if you are a good player. So if you sustain 45% winrate in these, u win approximately $93 (assuming u take cash instead of T$) for 5400 FPPs u get so you make 1.7c/FPP. If you take the Gold Bonus ($285 for 25,000 FPPs) you make only 1.15c/FPP so you dont even need anywhere close to a 45% winrate to make it more profitable to play the sattys. If you take teh Platinum Bonus ($600 for 50,000 FPPs) you make 1.2c/FPP so you're still much better off playing the sattys imo. I hope I did those calculations right, I'm no math wiz, lol

ok cool...i also had no idea that you had to actually clear the bonuses after trading in the fpps. Just sort of figured it was a clear trade. I'm kinda tempted to just be very selective about the sats i decide to play...use sharkscope/top shark etc to try and find a game with at least 3 fish or something like that, even if it means waiting a while for a game. The variance could really be the killer tho...because getting enough fpps for ~2 sats/month luck is obviously a huge factor.
