$300 Freeroll for the DespiseMe1 Cheerleaders!

I couldnt have come up with a cheesier title. Okay okay. your not cheerleaders, but! your cool in my book.

I'm breaking off some winning from the tournament from March 27th.

With the help of Full-Tilt, A $300 Freeroll invite tournament is being held for
the following Cardschat members:

Tournament Date: April 15th 2009 @ 7PM Mountain Standard Time.
Tournament Registration Begins : April 5th
1st Place: 175
2nd Place: 75
3rd Place: 50

I can change the time of the tournament over the next 2 or 3 days if this time does not work for you guys. Let me know. Full-Tilt staff seem pretty cool about this kind of stuff.

Anytime on the 15th is fine for me. Having cataract surgery on the 13th, but they say vision should be fine almost immediately. If not, I'll try Braille cards - lol.

Just to clarify, the time is 9pm Eastern Daylite? That's what FT runs their lobby clock at. You mentioned it as 7 Mountain Standard. ...

Yeah - 7pm MST as i live in Arizona, and i try not to remember the countries day light savings time for all time zones.. I think thats 2 hours difference from fulltilt.

Tournament will pop up in Full-Tilt in a few days so you can see the exact time on there

Yea, don't know if it went off or not tonight.

The cataract surgery was Monday for one eye and next Monday for the other eye. Can't play too long without stressing out both eyes right now ... I wasn't even home for two days. Live in Fallon and closest opthamologist that does cataract surgery is in the Reno/Sparks area, so hade to stay there 2 days.

If I missed it, hope y'all had a blast !!!! ....

I doubt it happened since OP hasn't posted in this thread since 3/30 - but was here on 4/04. No reason at all why it would not have been set up in time by Full Tilt - over 2 weeks is plenty of notice for a single tournament.

I was never sent a password or anything, never saw a listing on FT so I am left with assumptions:
1. he dropped the ball
2. he lost the money/cashed out, could no longer afford to put this on.

Intentions were good. It would've been nice had he posted an explanation...

That by far has to be a cruel April Fools joke IMO, even though, I was'nt brought in, or invited at all, still cruel....

That we did. It is a testimony about how easy it is to become over confident with one win and go back to take down the world ...

He hasn't posted on CC since 4/3 that I saw, so guess it took him just a couple of days to get cleaned out. An apology would have gone a long way but I think if/when he decides to come back, he may not enjoy the return scenery.

That's odd -- OPR says he hasn't played any tournaments since that one. He has played cash games, though, ranging from NL(.25) to NL($20). His last session looks painful, maybe that explains it.
