I was just wondering how many CCer's will be headed into the lovely state of New Jersey for the USPC this November in the beautifully classy Trump Taj Mahal? Don't forget your gun permits ladies and gents.

Do they have many tournaments at the USPC just like the WSOP or is it just the Hold em event we see on TV. I will be in Jersey for that week and I would love to play stud if they have a USPC tournament buy in.

They have different events like WSOP just not near as many.

Sad but this tournament has been getting smaller rather than bigger last year they only had 52 entrants down from 261 in 07 and 06

The less the merrier IMO, much higher quality of play. This also mean that the satellite entries won't run out on the first day.

I plan to be there for most of the month. Current work schedule is pointing in that direction. I will follow/ up with an e-mail adress if nothing changes.

thanks for the heads up and the tournament schedule. i might try some of their daily super-satellites, buy ins are very reasonable. lol at the comment about it being a rough neighborhood, i hear that a lot online but i don't think it is bad at all. i'm from philly so i guess it just doesn't seem bad to me.

I wish this tourney was like it was in 2004, 2005 and 2006. I loved watching these main events on ESPN. Too bad this tourney isnt as big anymore and because of that I bet not as many of the top players go to it.

It's not as big any more since ESPN stopped showing it. If you aren't on TV, your sponsors aren't going to buy you in. And it just becomes another tourney.

EDIT: Although from the PDF they mention some will be on TV this year. Don't say what network though.
