2009 Accomplishments/2010 Goals

It is time to think about what we were able to accomplish in 2009 and what we hope to do in 2010.

Guess I will start!

2009 Accomplishments:

• Read 2 poker books - "Elements of Poker" by Tommy Angelo and "Sit 'n Go Strategy by Collin Moshman.
• Had my biggest tournament win ever by placing 5th for about $1600 in the PS daily 30k gtd.
• Started playing sng's primarily along with MTT's.
• Began coaching sessions with a sng coach.
• Subscribed to Bluff Magazine to read monthly articles.
• Started using HEM and Sng Wizard.
• Joined Stoxpoker for MTT and Sng training.
• Joined SitnGoGrinders for Sng training.
• Worked my way up from playing less than 50 sng's a month to over 200 a month.

2010 Goals:

• Review as many videos at SitnGoGrinders as possible before 90 subscription expires.
• Review at least 2 videos a week at Stoxpoker.
• Read 8-10 poker books.
• Continue weekly or bi-weekly sng coaching sessions as long as necessary.
• Review coaching sessions a minimum of 1 time each.
• Move up to at least $11 sng's.
• Play approximately 200-300 sng's a month.
• Play a minimum of 2-3 MTT's a week.
• Have another nice tournament cash!

Became a winning player at last.

2010
regularly maintain a steady income from poker, and maintain supernova status through out.

2009 Accomplishments:

2010 Goals:
- Win money in poker!


Pretty simple for me! I did nothing in poker this year! I have high hopes for 2010. I'm actually putting together a schedule...... There are 7 days in a week... I work 5 and have two off. I plan on making a weekday schedule to "study' poker 100%. Maybe something like Tuesday - Thursday I watch videos, study guides, read more books. Friday - Sunday I play.... Once I start getting in the +EV I will play more during the week in between study periods!

I'll make it Poker 101 via Crummy University!

2009 Accomplishments:

Switched from SnG/MTT play to NLHE cash games
Beat 50nl (lost at 100nl , sigh)
Read tons of books
Made SN on PS
Played 700k+ hands across various games
Started playing Omaha games
Had fun

2010 Goals:

Have fun
Learn PLO
Beat 50plo
Build a br for 100plo (min 60 bi's) and start playing 100plo before end of year
Spend more time on training sites instead of grinding (daks, I love the one study day per week idea, now if I can just force myself...)

2009 Accomplishments:
* Had my biggest cash ever. 3.6K in FT's 24+2, 35K Guarentee. I finished 4th.
* Read "Sit 'n Go Strategy by Collin Moshman
* Reread some of H on H three volumes of Tourney Play
* Subscribed to Cardplayer magazine and continue to get Bluff magazine as well.

2010 Goals
* More Discipline with my BR managment
* Even More Discipline with my BR Management, lol
* Keep better stats
* Play games Im better at (Sit n Gos)
* Stay away from games im not good at (Cash games and definately Head to Head Cash Games)
* Try to get my MTT Cashes to 15% or higher.
* Study more
* Less Tilt

2009 accomplishments:
-0 to 700 dollars on Powerpoker, plus 0 to 1000 dollars overall in a bit over two months
-Took down two 1k freerolls for 627 dollars total

2010 targets:

-Make 1k into 10k+
-Win a decent size MTT (1000 dollars plus winning)
-Play more (was a bit lazy and busy at the end of the year)
-Get back into live poker
-Win incredible amounts in live poker
-Move from PLO20 to PLO50 and beyond
-Play more than 200 SNGs

2009 Accomplishments

- Didn't lose money on any of the 3 sites I play on (FT,PS,UB)

2010 Goals

- Find a doctor to prescribe me Adderal so I can play like Durr

2009- Made modest profit that is nothing compared to the time invested, tilted a bunch and underperformed.

2010- Make at least 1k playing poker and continue to grow as a player. I would like to get some more live experience and perhaps have a big cash in a MTT.

2009.
-Switched to cash games(think i actualy switched in dec last year but w/e)
-Beat 5,10 and 25nl and then took repeated failed shots at 50nl.
-Maked a profit.
-Read a alot of poker books,watched alot of vids on stox/CR and was active here.
-Played more live.
-Got a couple deep runs in micro mtts but no huge cash.

2010 Goals.
-Profit.
-Play less, focus more on school and stuff.
-Keep studying.
-Finaly stop beeing a retard and beat 50nl.

2009 Accomplishments

-Made about $11K pricemoney in tourneys with $3K profit according to OPR.
-3big cashes in OFC buyin at Full Tilt (2nd twice and 4th once).
-Won a $75 SnG for $1180.
-Made my first withdraw for $2K from Full Tilt.
-Turned my Full Tilt account into a rakeback-account through RakebackPros
-Played more cash tables at the end of the year(caus of the rakeback).
-Became a regular at CC and made some friends here.

2010 Goals:

-Make some profit at the tables.
-Tighten-up my game (less "donk"-moves).lol.
-Tilt less.
-Try HEM or PTR (HUD).
-Try to use a HUD.
-Make some improvements in my play.
-Try to join a CC-meeting ( if time and money will allow).
-Keep my job.
-Play more CC-games.
-Win an OFC-event.

I have loads of it sitting in a drawer - come to my house lol. Stuff makes me climb walls.

2009

Cash games was Huge fail - Breakeven over a 600k hand stretch FML! Would have been a winning year, but too many shots at 200nl killed me big time.

Thankfully I cashed in the WCOOP for $9k and I earned plenty of FPP's so it was a +$ year for me, but nowhere near what I was expecting.

2010

Supernova Elite - I think

Learn to run goot at 200nl - otherwise no Supernova Elite.

To run hotter than Joe Cada.

2010 will be your year to crush 50nl imo...

Started using HEM
Finished reading 3 of Harrington on Hold 'Em books
Learned to bluff well during live casino games

2010: Goals:
Make money playing online
Play more ring games online than mtt's
Learn to take more chances and follow my instincts
Read more poker books instead of just looking at them collect dust

No goals/ achievements for 2009

2010 goals

1) Play 500K hands of PLO

2) Play 2000 sngs/ Tournaments

3) Stop withdrawing money and get to 50PLO and 100PLO.

4) Get some stamina and play some 6 hour sessions.

5) Increase number of PLO games played at a single time from 6 to 12.

6) 16 table sngs.

7) Learn to play HU and CAP games for PLO. Too much dead money there to pass it up.

Still tinkering with varied tournaments and SNG's. In 2010 will work at winning a seat ... would be a great vacation for us.

2009 Accomplishments
-become a better tournament player (28% ITM)
-become a better SnG player
-read at least one poker book (Greenstein's "Ace on the River")

2010 Goals
-bankroll management!!

2009:

-started playing poker online again after a year break
-became a regular member at cardschat and made some friends
-seriously improved my game
-focused more on my strengths (i.e. PLO/PLO8)
-built a very nice bankroll from $0 on cake
-withdrew my winnings from pokerstars
-GOT ENGAGED TO MY BEST FRIEND AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD!!!!!!

2010:
-continue to climb stakes on cake at a rapid pace
-5 digit bankroll
-win a major MTT on cake
-Get married and have an amazing year!

2009: Started playing real money poker

Deposited 30$ in June and as at december 2009 I ran it up to 210$
Mostly through playing sng's and satelites.

2010: Play exclusively cash games. I am sorta doing all right in micro stakes but my goal is to beat 25nl by the end of the year.

Also play some tournaments and get a decent cash

2009- finally started playing poker not for the money, but because i want to play...

2010- play less poker and concentrate on things more important

2009:

went from 0 to ~ $120 on FTP
played cash games the past month..about breakeven.
had a nice cash on ultimatebet for 150 bucks

2010:

by this time next year id like to have my BR at FTP ~300
play more in the academy and earn credits to buy satellite tokens.
dont tilt and blow my whole roll.
keep up with the great brm.
focus more on school than poker

Found and Joined Cardschat
Refered Beau Akita to CC (Congrats on Great play here Baby)
Made alot of great friends at CC
Sept MOTM
Hosted/Helped with extra tourneys for CC Members (Tx Participants)
Won 3rd and 4th Quarterly Leader Boards (thanks for all the great money added tourneys CC)
Helped the Guys Crush in Guys/Gals Challange
2nd in CC Challange wins & by far the Best Boaster! (Congrats Pifan on 1st)
Won a CC Tourney 4 days in a Row
Added 3 new Pokersites and built/withdrew nice bankrolls
Continued to study/read/learn about poker and implemented my plan,
Helped others


2010 Goals:

Las Vegas in June Baby WOO-HOO
Clean up at Las Vegas Casinos,take big shots while there.Sell the House we bought and remodeled as investment,so we have more $ for Las Vegas
Play Cash Games and turn my focus on learning in that direction while still maintaining some tourney winnings
Read Leatherass Book when it gets here.Get HOH and study other books.
Host/help CC events
Win Cardschat Team League event (Team Avalanche Rocks)
Win Guys/Gals Challange 2010
Take more shots at higher stakes

-Platy star all and only 3 months I can play online poker
-Triple my 2009 profits in those 3 months
-Find farming job
-Find more hobbies
-Pass CFA Level 2
