Just been watching the TV footage of the 2005 main event,
Hows this for the FIRST hand of the tournement!!

The Flop Comes

• Sammy Farhar checks
• Player 2 bets 300
• Sammy Farhar raises to 1300
• Player 2 goes all-in for 10000
• Sammy Farhar calls 8700

The Turn card is
The River card is
"Sammy doubles up on the FIRST hand!"

Yes, this was a very fortunate hand for Mr. Farha... too bad for the other guy though.

Then this happens on the very NEXT hand (it was either the 2nd 3rd or 4th hand in the event)

Player 2 is obviously a bit dense.

..... why? He has an over pair to the board that happens to be ACES!!!!

Err, he bet 20*BB preflop. He may as well turn his cards face up. Sammy obviously called because of the huge implied odds - if he hit a 3 he is gonna get captain donk all in everytime.

Yeah that was > I think Goldie Hawn`s son< the first hand, he lasted a whole 90 seconds and was gone, $10,000 gone in less than 2 minutes, i watched it> Thats what you call a BAD BEAT>LOL>LOL> buckster436
