Have you guys heard that eCOGRA has started a 100 Seals Campaign?
They are aiming to award the 100th "Play It Safe" Seal by the end of this year. |

I've done some googles on eCOGRA and found they are respected throughout most of the online gaming community. I found quite a few original news articles, but more than half of what I found were reposted "press releases" put out by eCOGRA themselves. What I can't figure out is why the largest online poker sites don't have eCOGRA "seals" yet. Is it because these sites' software suppliers don't feel the need to pay the eCOGRA fees? |

You are correct to say that I do work with eCOGRA and they are very well-respected throughout the online gaming industry. As you know, online casinos have been around a lot longer than poker rooms, and in fact the biggest casino sites already have the eCOGRA seal (nearly 70-80% of all online casino revenue goes through eCOGRA certified Web sites) .
Unlike most poker players, casino players know to look for the “Play It Safe” seal. Poker players should similarly compel their favorite sites to submit to rigorous third-party testing. Just like Consumer Reports or the Better Business Bureau --independent testing is how we know to trust the things that matter to us. If poker players don’t demand fair games, responsive customer service and quick means to resolve disputes... honestly, who will? To make the case to online players, eCOGRA and several player advocates (like Card Player's Roy Cooke) spoke out at the industry's biggest trade show. We are not allowed to post article links here, but if you go to google and click on the news tab then type in "Ensure online gambling is fair, convention told" you can see the article about eCOGRA that was front page news in the Montreal Gazette's Business section today. |

You don't even have a "Fish -- Seal of Approval" on your site. Luckily, I can help you out with this little problem. ![]() |
