$10 180-seater w/ commentary

Just thought I'd try another one of these; sorry I don't have a sexy accent like Chris - after all, I am Canadian and we're not known for our exotic accents...

Is this a sign from the poker gods to never record again???

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YSWH1BFD

I've actually come back to ~750 chips after this and am still playing.

First off I am not gay (not that theres anything wrong with that)

Secondly you have a fine stoner voice.

Third: It was nice to see the crap people will call with I am def too tight.

Fourth: Try another one and post it up!

Sorry guys; recorded a whole 2-table SnG with half-decent commentary (thx for dropping by Sammy ) but the file sizes were too large.

Any word on how to make the file sizes any smaller (chris?)

And thanks anyways, stormswa, but I've just 'got' camtasia which should be nice

Chuck, is that you shuffling cards in the background?

Short video. You took the loss pretty well. I was wondering if you were going to pull a tuff_fish on us. Better luck next time.

I encourage you to pull a tuff_fish next time. Hell, tuff fish didn't get known by shaking off bad beats and saying "oh well, that's poker!" now did he?

Zipping doesnt do squat with video files, they are already compressed. Try selecting a different resolution like 340X something. It will give you a smaller window and smaller file size. I'll test and get back to you.

if you encode it at a lower video setting it will look nearly the same but take tons less space.

I just did a test using the XviD MPEG 4 codec. No audio (no microphone at work and my co-workers would think I was even crazier) 7 minute file was under 5MB. The default microsoft video created a 150MB file. Quality was pretty much the same.

I am using snagit 7.

I will try it with audio tonight and see how much the file grows.

Thats ok storm! Video and mp3's are highly compressed files to begin with. Some might shrink just a little but not enought to make it worth the effort.

I'm a computer geek so I have an unfair advantage.

Anyone not understand this?? I will translate for those not so technically sound as LoDog in bold

"I just did a test using the XviD MPEG 4 codec." LoDog has a slack ass job
"No audio (no microphone at work and my co-workers would think I was even crazier)" see comment above
"7 minute file was under 5MB." This is quite small - well done LoDog
"The default microsoft video created a 150MB file. Quality was pretty much the same." - 145 MB difference with vitrually no difference in quality
"I am using snagit 7." - LoDog is a big geek
"I will try it with audio tonight and see how much the file grows" - time to book some overtime - work doesn't know the difference!

I believe this is the classic one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEk9ZT49_b0

Lots more on youtube.

All my Windows sounds are snippets of Tuff_fish, whenever I get knocked out of a tourney I hear " Son of a god dam bitch son of a bitch, achchaachchakak,!"

makes me feel better.
