Zipping doesnt do squat with video files, they are already compressed. Try selecting a different resolution like 340X something. It will give you a smaller window and smaller file size. I'll test and get back to you.

if you encode it at a lower video setting it will look nearly the same but take tons less space.

I just did a test using the XviD MPEG 4 codec. No audio (no microphone at work and my co-workers would think I was even crazier) 7 minute file was under 5MB. The default microsoft video created a 150MB file. Quality was pretty much the same.

I am using snagit 7.

I will try it with audio tonight and see how much the file grows.

I wasnt sure so just made the suggestion.

Thats ok storm! Video and mp3's are highly compressed files to begin with. Some might shrink just a little but not enought to make it worth the effort.
