This is a cool idea, I like it. Sort of makes up for the Onyx Cup falling through. |

| It's a year away, they'll have time to save. Plus even if they can't really afford it (remember that you don't need to worry about BRM for a one-off game) there will be people who won't be able to resist the lure of a potential $17 million payday and play anyway. And $1 million is only five or ten buyins for the cash games a lot of the high stakes players play in. |

| M-A-R-K-E-T-I-N-G guys!!! Put on a spectacle that people are interested in watching. That's why the WSOP was started. Guess the top 200 players in the world could go play in someone's basement or in the backroom of an undisclosed casino instead? |

| I don't see why its silly. Players with that much money must have a hard time getting 'the rush' they use to feel when they started out. With 17 mil on the line I'm sure the players will have a good time. Hell if I had 20 mil in the bank, I'd drop a mil to play and see if I can't double what I own up. Its their money, they can do with it whatever they want. |
