$1,000,000 Stars tourney Well after my marathon headsup match last night I played again and won my entry to tomorrow's $1,000,000 tourney. So far the number of entries are 435. Not too bad of odds. Pokerstars also emailed me and said that instead of playing they would credit me with the buyin fee of $530. A little tempting there. I'll make a decision soon about that. Any input here?

$530 is tempting... I suppose it depends on how confident you are, but those sunday tournies are usually filled with pros and semi-pros aswell as the normal fishies...but they sound tough. Good luck with the tourney if you play; I'm sure if you play your game and the cards run alright that you'll do fine.

It would be hella fun to play, but to be honest for an online tourney I would take the T$. Think how long that would last you! If it were like the WSOP or something I'd play just for the experience, but for an online tourney... Congratz on the win by the way! Enjoy either way...

| NJ on the round 2 win! I would take the $. The donk play and probability of being rivered out with the best hand is why. I'm obviously not a huge fan of JokerStars...If I were you, I would wait to see or figure out how many total people make it to round 3 and a bigger facter would be how many places pay out... before making my decision. | No this isn't for the second round. This is for $1,000,000. I'm just wondering what sort of players I'll be up against. I have a lot of confidence in my ability. I can play good as a lot of you have found out. I'm debating it only on my level of competition that I will be facing. I look at it this way, I came in second in the CC match, I used that money to enter, I finished 5th and used that money to reenter. Basically it's a free play for me. $530 is a good amount to use here. I'm wondering how many places do you think they will pay and at how much. That is how I'm most likely make my decision. Does anyone know what they have done in the past? |

re: $1,000,000 Stars tourney poker PLAY PLAY PLAY How often do you get the chance to go after that much money? Isn't that why we play? Think of it this way, $500 is nice but will be gone soon enough but how about 10 grand or 100 grand, how long would that last and what could you do with it. Go for it.

Well it looks like Ima gonna play. After all, as someone said above, why else are you in the game? I was watching the last million dollar game they had and the level of play was nothing compared to some of the games here. Also the last one was a $215 entry and had over 4000 players. Top prize for that one was about $125,000. Payoffs look to be about $250,000 for the winner of this one. Final table players look to get a minimum of over $20,000. So it's game on. Wish me luck and a solid connection! Game's at 4:30pm EST

GOOD LUCK!!! If you're comfortable with it, by all means play, and enjoy the experience. My one piece of advice, is don't let the size of the stakes affect your decisions -- be as fearless as you would be at a $1 SNG. Make good decisions and play your style, but don't tighten up simply due to stakes.

re: $1,000,000 Stars tourney poker Congrats on winning your way into this tourney. I did a quick check through some of the players and there are a few of the top ranked online players playing. The main 3 to look out for are Sheets, ActionJeff and foshio. I'll be able to watch from the rail for a bit. Good Luck.
