hes ultra loose aggressive , but this river shove is generally for value so hes got flush, full house or straight, maybe some bluffs, given the combination of hands, your probably losing at first impression, but given the description of villain id tend to call unless something tells you a fold is ok, which you have no indicated,

Don't like it at all. The only thing you have going for you (and this is stretch) is if the SB hit a boat he would have been thrilled to see a diamond on the river and would've/should've checked. Which makes me wonder what he has put me on. Keep in mind his shove is only like half the pot so it's not like it's an overbet. You basically have 3-1 to call - might as well since it seems you are an action junkie just getting in the hand to start with (see WVHillbilly) or maybe just carried away with the table for that night. See it through. Kudos to you for bringing the hand in here though (especially if you won). If you lost I hope it stings enough to remember a suited gapper out of position will just get you in trouble.

re: Your thoughts on this hand? poker I thinks it a must call on the river. He could be easily shoving with a marginal hand. That is a bluff heavy board for the small blind. I wouldn't be suprised if he floated the turn planning on shoving the river. What where the results? Did you make a hero fold?

As WV said, I would have folded pre flop. Consistently calling OOP with hands like that is a lot bigger leak than whether or not you called this particular shove. As played, fold the river. He boated up or has a higher flush here almost always. He might be really loose/aggressive but unless he's certifiable he isn't putting his whole stack in with much that you beat IMO. And yeah, give us some results. What happened?

yea like pretty much everyone said, u have to fold there....being as loose as u say he is, if u call he'd probably turn over 72o for the boat, but he just shoved cuz he felt like u caught ur flush and would call...either way, have to fold this to his shove, but moreso should have folded pre or on the flop

Well the result is he showed 27off. I was drawing dead on the turn. I think the better play for this hand was a light 3 bet preflop which can get me heads up with UTG. If UTG 4 bet shove then it would be an easy fold for me. I am experience plays with the suited gapers and suited connectors. I think I am playing them too soft. Still trying to figure out what's the best way to play these hands.

I dont necessarily think a fold pre is the right play given your stack. Just because 1st opponent is UTG and somewhat tight, doesn't mean he only has 99+. You have position on him and a hand that plays well post flop. When SB calls I like the spot even more. The one thing I like here is a raise on the flop. UTG bets 20 into a pot of almost 50. You have 2 overs and flush draw, even to an overpair you are only a 2 to 1 dog. I like a raise to 45 or 50 on the flop, given that you will take it down right there on the flop some of the time. As it played, I prob snap call the river here. If the guy is as aggro as we think I would tend to think he raises some if not all of his flush draws on the flop, and if he has a boat nice hand to him and we move on.
