| is it worth chasing fish with less than 100bbs? so a couple questions.. something I've noticed since I've been playing more lately, all the fish buy in for less than 100! a lot of the regs do too actually, is there any reason for this? and is it worth moving to tables with a fish if he's short stacked? table selection.. decent fish to reg ratio? thankyou in advance! |

| Most regs don't short stack. If they do and they're playing microstakes, they probably suck. Lots of fish don't want to risk a lot of money so they shortstack. It's cool to be at a table with one or two of them but when the majority of the table is way under 100bbs, it's probably time to leave unless they're crazy spewing. Decent fish to reg ratio at 6max is 6:1, at full ring 9:1 ldo |

These would be decent, but its gonna be rare that you have 6:1 - 9:1 fish/regs at anything higher that 2.nl, and even there often not.. Not saying the regs will be all that good, but they will be there. As far as short stacks go, you cant avoid it. If a table is full of 40-70 BB players then it can be good, since all are probably bad. But if you have 2 SS and otherwise regs, look elsewhere. 1 full stack fish is all you need to make a table worth being at, just make sure you attack him when the opportunity presents itself |

| I have this same thought process when I play live. I notice alot of weaker players buy in at the table for the min, I also notice they play more hands and are way loose which is exactly the opposite of what you'd expect to see... and unfortunatly when i see them with my larger stacks I feel like the shark trying to eat these fish and I put myself in bad situations to take advantage of our stack differences. Unfortunatly i forget they have less to lose and often are calling stations... B careful |
