Well, freeroll play is not even close to conventional poker play at cash games. I don't think a comparison of styles or plays can be made between freerolls and cash games. I think you need to learn a bit more about how to exactly play poker and how to play certain cash games, SnGs, and MTTs, before we can give you any feedback on your gameplay, tips, and any style of play you might have. Advice = Play Cash Games (not freerolls) and Learn More About Poker (through any source of information you can possibly find), then we can give you a bit more advice.

Thank you for your advice hott_estelle, you are very candid . However, I believe there may have been a bit of a misunderstanding. Let me rephrase my question. What are the main differences in playing styles when it comes to tournament style and cash games (Sit n Go's)? I've come up $100 in a 50/1.00 table but I lost it all just as quick :P. In tournament style games...there are times where you adjust your playing style to get into the money whereas in a SnG cash game the point is to get the maximum (or lose the least) amount of money from the other players in one particular hand. And yeah... poker is like sex... sometimes you get "bad beats" but you still play anyways :P

I play 90% cash games and probably prefer them as there is an ebb & flow and without the constant pressure of blinds going up every few minutes - but a lot more fish chasing down to the river with their eyes shut lol So you really should be above going badly on tilt if you are to play cash. MTTs are different as it is a race often with people jockeying for position trying to steal blinds and bully etc. Its in the tourneys you have to find if you can steal with nothing and learn to bully the shortstacks. There are of course similarities - play sensible hands, be patient. I find drift back to cash as i can make some money quicker there Whilst i still get good results in tourneys i often think of how long it took, lol
