| What are your minimum requirements on the button? I normally raise with K10 or better, Q 10 or better, medium suited connectors,or 44 or better. Is it good to raise with hands like 10 8 offsuit, 9 7 offsuit, 8 7 offsuit? What about King 5 suited? |

| Depends a lot on your table image, how your opponents are playing, what the action in front of you is, stack sizes, etc. There are times I'd raise with K5o from the button and there there are times I'd fold 99 on the button. There's no such thing as "these are the cards you limp with, raise with, and fold when on the button". |

^^^ Tourney or ring? Satellite or standard tourney? What stage of the tourney? Our image? Opponents in the blinds? Stack sizes? Antes? Be more specific with your questions; poker is a game of information and unique situations, not set guidelines. |

but beyond that these intelligent guys before me nailed it. it's way too situational to just give you a range. depends greatly on who you have to act behind you, image, stack sizes, etc. |

| Yea I know every decision depends on many factors but I mean what would you generally do if... It's folded to you. It's middle/early in a tournament at a 9 handed table. Everyone at the table has about the same stack size. You just started playing at the table so don't know much about the other players and they don't know much about you. |

| In a tourny, if folded too, you would probably see me raise any 2 from the button if im honest. Although that is probably not the best strategy, dm's guidelines are probably the best, but it depends on your style. I like to raise wit ha lot of hands and build pots in tournies, to then use aggression to take it down. So i would raise any 2 when folded to in button |

When I don't know anything about the other players, my opening range on the button is fairly wide. Obviously any pair, most Aces and Kings, most suited connectors and one-gappers, offsuit connectors and one-gappers. When there's two nits in the blinds, I'll raise any two. |

| Generally I'll open with any ace, any suited king, any offsuit king down to k9, any suited connector down to 54s, or any pair, a lot of qs, js and ts. Close to about half of my hands basically. Or I'll raise with any two cards every time if my opponent doesn't defend his blinds enough. Of course it depends on other situations at the table. |
