What is a "good" VP$IP and PFR range at 6max? I know this will vary depending on how loose or tight the table is but on average what would you say is a good vp$ip is at 6max? Also what sort of difference should there be in vp$ip and PFR be? Say for example someone is 25/27 is that good or bad?

Yeah in all seriousness 22/20, 21/19, are good stats to shoot for a good TAG style, dont let your vpip go <17 though and always make sure you keep that vpip/pfr gap tight but being aggro and using position to its fullest, lots of steals!

re: What is a "good" VP$IP and PFR range at 6max? poker I started around 22/20 but after tweaking and tidying up my ranges I am now around 18/17 with a steal of 32 and 3bet of 5%. I guess I am a bit nitty but playing 4 tables, my time is nicely filled at the moment.

I played 2200 hands a couple nights ago. First time playing cash in some time. I played 6 .10/.25 tables 6max and was around 25/18 in all of them. There is not a good/bad number. The numbers YOU win the most with at the current level are the "right" numbers for you. I'm not sure achieving certain numbers should be a goal. Playing it one hand at a time. Since I'm just starting to work on my cash game. Tonight I'm going to turn the HUD off for me (leave it on the other players). After 1000 hands of playing as good as I can I'll turn it back on and see where I'm at. Then play another 1000.

Public Service Announcement: Stop looking at your stats. Anywhere between 18/18 and 30/25 is standard. The more important thing is to know which hands to add to your VPIP range, when to add them, and why.

re: What is a "good" VP$IP and PFR range at 6max? poker I've been mixing up my game and actually have been playing tighter at 6 max, somewhere in the range of an 18/14/3 and then a little looser at FR, something like a 22/18/3....with good success. This is at 10NL and 25NL.
