| what do you think about this strategy Hi Guys! I am planning to do this for a whole day (or maybe I will do it for a whole week): I will fold all One Pair and many Two Pairs (depending of other players) as if they were dead hands and I will only bet, call and raise with better hands. What do you think would be the outcome? |

| I'm assuming you will be playing a low limit full ring game. I'm sure if you do use your strategy you will be ahead at the end of the day. But you will be giving up a lot of winning hands and probably be pretty board for most of the time |

| re: what do you think about this strategy poker The outcome will be you blinding out and end up shoving with a marginal hand to stay alive. Or as previously posted, if you play rings then you won't get any action on your hands. You can't play thinking there's always a better hand than yours and someone is holding the nuts, you just need to recognise when your smaller holdings are probably not good enough. |

| Thanks for your comments guys. I've been reading a lot lately and I don't know exactly what I am doing wrong, but it is diffuclt to "read" people on low stakes limit tables. I am playing on .02/.04 most of the time, and there people are nuts, sometimes they raise cards like 5s,8h but without any sure or logical pattern. It is like if they "wanted" to do it and that's it. I have been in many situations where i have One pair, other people in the table check, check, and check again, and 2 of them had better hands than mine. COuntless times I've been playing and people with a flush draw check several times, making me think their hand sucks. I know that would be part of the strategy, but it makes me doubt a lot. I know there are a lot of little details i should be aware while playing, But I still can't detect when they are bluffing in these small tables or they really had a good hand (or bad). Tell me moure about it, Please. Thanks! |

| i think you need more strategy,s then one in a tournament players would know in a later stadium its easy to read your hand so you need to switch strategy,s even now and then. in a low limit cash game every hand is the winning hand they raise call bet with everything you need timo to the think by yourself ig you are really beaten by that guy you just must observe the other players how many times he is in a hand how many times he raises how many times call how do he react on a reraise thats all stuff you need to find out to win hands time by time |

U cant really read people online but u can read betting patterns. I play the .05/.10 tables every now and then and see the same thing ur talking about. Those guys will play ATC. I usually: only limp with low to medium pocket pairs and get out of the hand if the pot gets raised over a certain % of my bankroll, raise excessively with high pocket pairs, try to see many flops as possible as long as its cheap, dont chase unless its cheap or i have pot odds to call, play the NL cap so when the donk does hit his 2 outer i dont lose it all, and just be very, very, very, patient. A lot of those people hate their money and they are dying to give it to you. Just pay attention and u will find them eventually. |

| Id love to play against you while using this strategy ccause you will be very easy to push around unless u do hit that big hand early and then u could take the bluffer me for a bit of ride but chances are u wont hit the huge hand and ul proably end up chasing and wasting your money. But playing this way if u do hit your hand on the flop u could make a lot |

| re: what do you think about this strategy poker up to 50nl with rakeback this is definately profit imo i would also add a lot of 3 betting preflop at those limits and it may cover for your post flop nit status if anyone pays attention to that at those limits. |

I see people playing this style of play all the time, my hud tells me they play like that b/c they'll be sitting at around 9/0/0 with a fold to cbet of between 80-100%, very easy to play against and they provide me with a nice constant flow of stolen blinds and pots taken down with a reg cbets.... to pad out my winnings when the cards ain't falling for me. My advice would be that if you do play like that, notice who's stealing a lot from the late positions and start to 3bet light preflop from the blinds or you'll just be far to easy to play against. |
