| **Unofficial Official 2011 PLO Cash Game Thread** Yes it is the 27th December but I'm starting this early so that it is not forgotten till mid March. Let us lay down some starter rules for this thread. 1) Strictly PLO cash games. Usually we could separate this based on limit but seeing as every PLO player here plays under 25PLO there is no need for multiple threads. 2) Everything is allowed. Post bad beats, interesting hands, graphs, theory, challenges, whatever. The point is, we need to get some interest going in the game. If it happens that people post more hands here than in the HA section, well, I don't care, because it is not like people actually post PLO hands on this site. 3) If you want to organize sweat sessions or hand reviews, videos, those posts go in here as well. We can set up monthly/ weekly PLO games here. Get everybody together. 4) This is an everything thread, low content, intelligent content, every kind of content relating to PLO. We just need it to keep this thread alive and build the PLO community. 5) If you are learning PLO for the first time, post here. People will help you. Anything related to beginners PLO can be answered very easily and most people are willing to help. I'm willing to review hand histories for anybody as long as I have time and that there are not more than 100 hands in the document. Doesn't have to be in any kind of format although I would prefer a notepad doc just for simplicity sake. Let's play some PLO. |

| Hey, I am mostly playing 5 tables of 6max NL on ipoker atm but i usually fire up like 2 PLO tables and 3 NL if there's not much on, i seem to do fine at 2+5 PLO but i feel like i'm being a bit Loose-Passive sometimes (and so, will become v.exploitable if i moved higher), not at my computer right now but my stats are something like 40/25 lol I think the hardest thing that ive found with PLO is hand reading, im not a jedi at it playing NLHE but i can at least get a half decent idea of the kinda hand they have, PLO i just havent got the slightest clue what theyre holding, specially at the 2PLO level as people literally play ANY 4 cards lol Anyways, i'll try and join in here and consistently play at least 1 PLO table per session as i do enjoy it and its soft as shit at the micros so is a good way for me to pad the roll. |

| I'm probably the worst PLO player ever. In NLHE I am the most LAG, pressure putting player you'll see. (Probably not, but it's not too far off) I feel so passive in PLO. I never really feel comfortable with hands. I fold a ton of hands pre-flop. Sometimes I wonder what I'm even looking for. I'm not sure, if I'm asking a question as much as just wondering all the strategy behind the game. I know that probably is impossible for you to tell me, but maybe you can point me in some right direction. |

| Okay, I dont play omaha too much online, pretty much never to be honest, so most of my expierience is in home games....which is nothing like online omaha haha so before i get ripped apart for being a fish, im admitting to being one lol so take it easy on me here I'm not sure if I played this right? I thought he could be holding anything from overpairs (qq, kk) or maybe he flopped trip jacks? but as played, i dont think he has a jack here I figured, if he has an overpair, I'm dominating and if he has a jack, im in trouble, with the 2 outer for the ace or backdoor flush thanks in advance, and im still learning omaha Full Tilt Pot-Limit Omaha, $0.05 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com UTG ($5) Hero (MP) ($4.62) Button ($3.62) SB ($14.99) BB ($3.74) Preflop: Hero is MP with 4 , K , A , A![]() 1 fold, Hero bets $0.15, Button calls $0.15, SB raises to $0.65, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.50, Button calls $0.50 Flop: ($2) J , J , 7 (3 players)SB bets $1, Hero raises to $3.97 (All-In), 1 fold, SB calls $2.97 Turn: ($9.94) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)River: ($9.94) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)Total pot: $9.94 | Rake: $0.66 |

| That hand actually illustrates lots of things I wonder about PLO. People don't tend to 3 bet much. (At least that's what it feels like. Most people want to see flops) Wouldn't the 4 bet pretty much say, "I have AA's". Wouldn't we be in a pretty bad spot with this hand against AA's vs. AA's, since he might have our flush covered, and maybe a different flush draw. I guess we 4 bet and just really hope he has KK's? We have one K, so I'm not sure how that plays into it either!!!!! |

| it doesn't matter that our 4b says "i have AAxx", you'd be getting enough of your stack in preflop to get it in unexploitably on any board (and avoid making a potentially costly mistake postflop, such as folding incorrectly or stacking off incorrectly etc) edit: also a lot of people will 3b with AKQT-type hands and will refuse to fold to 4bets (and will even feel priced in if it ends up getting shoved in front of them preflop) |

| Just so I can make a contribution to the thread. Its a shallow 20-50 BB table. Started with max buyin and couldnt get anything going. Feel free to comment on these two hands. Only two hands where I won on this table. I dont have a HUD but I can tell u in the first hand, it was just me and sb. He was raising absolutely every hand. Dont know why I called pre but he checked it down and let me catch the nuts.. | Played some PLO for real money for the first time last night. Turns out the lowest you can play at Partypoker is 25PLO (I have a small bankroll on there that I use to just goof around when I'm drunk, on tilt or both). I lost 2BI over 215 hands, playing on 2 tables, one that looked pretty soft, another that had a couple of guys that looked like they knew what they were doing. Not sure if I'm going to be able to keep on playing PLO since 25PLO is too high for my PP roll and I'm not sure I'm willing to use up my more serious but not larger PS roll on learning it, it's fun to play something different from time to time though, just can't decide ... |

| re: **Unofficial Official 2011 PLO Cash Game Thread** poker I still feel like I play way too tight. The only thing I have going for me is I raise a lot on the BTN. Possible for someone to post a pre-flop what hands to see flops with? |
