Its the percentage of times that you take an aggressive action (betting or raising) when you have the opportunity to do so (post flop). So if you play a hand, and you bet the flop, check/raise the turn, and then check/call the river, your AFq will be 2/5 or 40%. And keep in mind, values for AFq are affected by how tight you are. Tight players tend to have much higher AFq's (because they almost always have good hands), whereas, a player with a 90% VPIP with an AFq of 30% is just a bat-shit crazy maniac.

Seeing as we are on the subject of PT3 stats I would like to ask those who are a regular user of the HUD to help me set my HUD properly(what stats are more important than others). I want to become more serious with my cash game and more proficient in the use of a HUD. I will be playing micros (10NL) 6-max with FR thrown in at times, and would like to know the best HUD setup and what specific stats to look for at the different tables as I know that the stats will vary from 6-max and FR. All help would be appreciated thanks

Great thread from ChuckTs: http://www.cardschat.com/f11/6-max-h...-how-i-140070/ Here's my current 6max HUD: Name, Hands VPIP, PFR, Agg Factor, Agg % 3bet, fold to 3bet, steal, fold bb to steal flop cbet, turn cbet, fold to flop cbet, fold to turn cbet I rely on the popups for positional and other more detailed stats (i.e., 3bet by position, flop c/r, etc.).

I've just bought HEM (swapped from PT3) and copied Sly's custom HUD setup (thanks Sly) I can see there is a point, as they use different formulas, but I'm still learning to interpret them properly; I'll spend today's session trying to use them and report back.
