Ultimatebet rebuy mtt strange play?

Ok, played a $1 rebuy at UB this morning, 110 players. There were 60 people left(this is after the rebuy period had ended), and the blinds were 300/600, average stack was 20000.
I had just lost most of my stack with QQ's against an all-inner with AA PF, then the very next hand I get dealt AQ suited early position. I have 2000 chips left, so I push all-in. It gets folded to the small blind, who reraises it to 6000, and then the BB pushes 15000 chips all-in. The SB has him covered and calls.
OK, Im expectin monster hands here, right?
Well, SB has TJsooooted, and the BB has 22!!!!!!!!!!!!
Board is kinda irrelevent here(it comes Q34 rainbow, then A, then a K to give TJ a broadway, ffs) but my question really is, are these the kinda hands to expect in a low stake rebuy tournament, and more specifically are these the kinda hands that get played like this at UB? Ive never played there before, just got $10 from a CCer, so thought Id try it out?
Any info would be greatly recieved, i was TAG in this rebuy, no rebuys, double add-on.
