Trying to Improve My Poker Game

Hey people, well me and a lot of my friends play poker and i've seen them go on a site play a freeroll or 2 and they bulid a bankroll and they're playin in highroller trnys while im still playin freeroll. Anyways anyone know a site where i can find somethin to help me like articles, books, magazines etc?

Welcome to the site, have a look at the articles section here for a start. And try to remember its very very easy to play big money tourneys and lose. Take no heed of your mates and concentrate on your game. Have a look at some of the posts here especially in the stragaties/hand analysis sections.

Its a wealth of information, better than youll find in a lot of books. Feel free to ask any questions that you like, there is plenty of "knowitalls" here !

If you look around, you'll find that you already have found what you're looking for. We have a ton of info on the site not to mention advice from very good players...

I would suggest playing in some games that you can make the nuts multiple of ways. The "easiest money" on the net, is going to be in games such as omaha HI LO or seven Stud Hi Lo... Go buy a book on that and play the premuim hands and only draw at the nuts. Dont play weak hands in these games, and your bankroll will grow at a slow but steady pace, then you can fire at some bigger games...

Thanks for the your input and yea, Omaha hi low happens to be my favorite poker game, dun really like stud, but i hope to learn a thing or two from you people here so i can take ya money (or you take mines -_-)
