from tourneys to cash? I have been playing a lot of STTs recently and I am thinking about switching it up and going back to cash games. I was never really good a NL cash games so I mainly built my BR playing Limit 6-max. I believe I have gotten a lot better than when I played NL so I figure I will give it a shot. What are some of the strategic differences between cash games and STTs? I know this is a very broad question but I dont even know what to ask but I figure this should start up a good conversation about the topic.

re: from tourneys to cash? poker i switched from stt's and mtt's awhile ago cause i couldnt handle the down swings and did much much better. you dont have to try and make moves cause the blinds never go up. good luck man and cash games are the only way for me from now on.

In cash games its seems people are more inclined to go all in. Many players are looking for ways to get their entire stack in the middle. If a player goes bust, no big deal...reload. In tournament games most players will play slower at the start when blinds are lower. More grinders in MTTs than SNGs also Hope this answers your question
