You probably want to slow it down a little if there are two tables of people. Watch the players and see how they are playing. If everyone is playing really tight, then you can probably continue your agressive play, but be careful with who you push around. The more people you try to bully, the more likely someone is going to be able to trap you for a lot of the chips that you took.

i was playing really agressive at a sit and go at a dorm room, my chip stack fluctuated alot but i was up more than down.... but when i kept calling this guy down when we were heads up and he checked, i automatically pushed all in with nothing. I could not even control it. Has this happened to anyone?

re: Tournement strategy poker Tight early - try to double your stack a couple of times with the monster hands. When it gets closer to the bubble - like 20 players away from the money - then loosen and you can usually add about 6 BB to your stack just because everyone is paranoid. Especially if you have been tight the whole way - your image is solid and people will think twice about calling. Also, show your cards when you steal a blind with junk like 7 2 once.

many people plays tight in the beginning because they are afraid of go out so early in a tournament, therefore you can steal many pots, but after a while the tight players loosen up a bit, so you might conidering tighten up a bit later in a tournament
