Well, when you get to the midle stage of the tournament, and blinds get bigger and ante's come in, you should limp allot less, and try to be the first to open a pot, meaning always be the raiser. You will get allot of blinds wich is important, and if you get called and you miss the flop, you can always bet pretending to have a strong hand, and if the guy flopped nothing you will probably take the pot. Basically, just tighen up your game and when you play a pot, play it more aggressivly.
Hope that helps |

yea thats pretty much it..but as most of us in the beginning we tend to play more pots and a little more aggresively to get chips early and then once we get them we stay on cruise and dont play like u normally do..at least i do that so what helps me is just play your game the whole time and it will give you the best chance to win.

re: TOURNAMENT PLAY poker
the deeper i get the more i need to slow down. things get out of hand quick and it is easy to get caught up in. slow down and wait for mistakes. lots of players think that if they dont have 10xthe big blind its all in or bust mostly bust. let them bust wait for the good starting hands. and hope for the best. being blinded out isnt bad play but busting out with anyold cards just because your a short stack just takes you out. most of the time i take myself out of turnys because im not paying attention to the game just my stack.
