Taking My Own Advice
Hi.
You know the saying "do as I say, don't do as I do?" Well, I have a bad case of it. Lately, I've been losing a lot of money with my one-pair hands (upwards of about $2000 stuck with single pairs) and it's a leak that I desperately need to plug. It's clear to me that the reason I lose money with these hands is because I've been so caught up with trying to catch bluffs when people raise me on the turn and river that I forget that not everyone bluffs all the time. In fact, people bluff pretty rarely, especially on the river. Then I found this: http://www.cardschat.com/blog/12/06/...d-on-the-turn/ And I gotta tell you, that's good advice right there. I think I'll take that FP guy up on it, and see if I can save some money. That is all. |

Uhh-that FP guy, I hear he's pretty sketchy.
![]() ![]() ![]() Seriously though, sometimes the best advice is what you already know; the advice you'd give to yourself. As you are very learned about the game of poker-I'd say listen to yourself! ![]() |
