| Stud hi limit in Horse games Maybe there is already a thread to this question, if so I'm sorry and you may feel free to link any answers. I usually play stud hi only when playing horse tournaments (usually 1,25$ 9pls sng or daily full tilt freeroll). I do fairly well in the horse altogether but find it hard to play any starting hand in stud hi. I give AAK-suited, trips or Axx suited a chance but often get rerereraised with marginal hands before even seeing 4th street, if I pay there is always someone shoving in as much as possible (limit) so in the end I fold about 95% of all starting hands before I even bet. This strategy (if it is one ???) works fine for me, I place about 66% of the sngs I play. I could be wrong alltogether but is it the micro-faktor that keeps my opponents shoving their chips in? I try to change my playing style depending on my opponents in all other games and do fairly well there but what can I do here ? |
