I used to post a thread about a smart 90/45 player. Yesterday I lost 600bb to a player 65/21.I will post some hands
I'd like to open a thread to record my experience vs this kind of player. As I have played poker on and off for years, no success at all. Most lost is against this kind of player.
The thread can be a reminder and record to see if I can stop spew. If I can not overcome it and win, I will stop playing poker.
I am trying to profile this kind of players:
very loose preflop but control very well after flop
fold most hand after flop.
bet straight and flush draw board
call with sm pair to end
bet big when have the nut
I think why they are dangerous is because you are eager to win big from these "fish", but they are smart so that even you win you win small. But as they only bet flush and straight big or two pairs like 2J which you never gone read from their hands, you often lose big. Also because they are loose and know to play AA KK slow, you will often get punished by 3 barrel bet and lose big on the river.
So my plan is only bet the flop as they will fold most hand, very less turn bet, never bet river except the nuts. When he bet big never call with tptk and 2 pairs especially with the flush on the board, I will give up my set here.
Based on this strategy, my conclusion is you will only get some edge profit from this players. No room to win big. Do not even think about it.
I would like to ask you guy do you think this is the right answer.
