| Some question for the low limit players. Up to and including $2/$4 players, $100NL players, $33 S$G/MTT. Follow on from this thread : Some questions for the micro players. The micro limit players can post there. Do you just play poker just for fun ? Have you an adquete bankroll for the limits you play at? What would you call adquete ? Did you bankroll yourself for these limits immediately, or did you grind your way up though the micros ? If you done the grind, how long did it take you, and are there any important lessons or advise you could give to the micro players ? Do you ever intend to move up in limits and how do you intend to do this ? Do you find it easier to win money at these limits ? Have you a solid plan of action to move you game to the next level ? Do you find yourself tilting and calling against the odds too much ? Do you re-deposit on a regular basis, and why do you think this is, are you constantly losing ? Do you find yourself taking "shots" at a higher limit ? Do you (or can you) identify leaks in your game, do you even bother to look ? No need to reply if you dont want to, just some things to ponder Last edited by tenbob : 4th April 2007 at 4:40 PM. |

| The defination of a "solid" plan is difficult and different for everyone. For example ive just moved from $50NL to $100NL. My plan being, ignoring all S&G/MTT winnings, to win $1,000 from $50/$25 NL ring, to track this progress using PokerTracker, and not move up until I have $1K winnings, to then move to $100 NL moving down if my profit figure drops below $900. Not to move limits until I play the minium of 10,000 hands at any level, irregardless if im running hot. NOT the defination of solid plan....... Ill move up when I feel im ready. |

I play because I find the game and all its nuances interesting, and if I can make a bit of money on the side, well, that's a bonus. Quote:
